This small gem like oil painting on panel
was painted directly from nature in Prague by Leif Nilsson during
a painting trip to the Czech Republic in the spring of 1999. The
panel measures 8 inches by 10 inches unframed and is 13 inches
by 15 inches in the handmade metal leafed finished corner wooden
frame. The area where the composition was created is directly
below the Hrad, or Castle on the eastern side of the River Vltava,
where extensive gardens are terraced up along the hill leading
