Canadian Bluesman Morgan Davis will be performing a concert in the garden at the Leif Nilsson Spring Street Studio & Gallery, 1 Spring Street, Chester Center as part of their Concerts in the Garden series on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 4pm - 6pm. Suggested donation is $10 and BYOB. For more information call 860-526-2077. For nearly four decades Morgan Davis has been on the road traveling across Canada, the United States and Europe. His performances draw from a rich tradition of country blues, as well as his own contemporary songs infused with wit and a large dose of humor. Over the years he has had the privilege of performing with Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Albert King, John Hammond, Albert Collins, Eric Bibb, Colin Linden, James Cotton, Huber Sumlin, Sunnyland Slim, Snooky Prior and other great blues artists.
The Pattaconk 1850 Bar and Grille is offering 1/2 off an appetizer and $3.50 for a glass of wine or a beer, before or after the concerts.
